Dura Ace Drive side battery cover already cracked and needs replaced!

As with nearly every other review on here the battery cover on the drive side power meter is shockingly poor quality! 😡
£15 for a replacement …daylight robbery!!

Garbage design.

I have a 2024 SL8 I’ve bearly ridden, I keep the bike indoors and I wax my chains so no harsh chemicals. So can someone tell me why my power meter is disintegrating?

It’s a matter of time before the PM totally fails. I’d give a zero rating if I could.

the power meter housing fell apart

Also the plastic housing of the Shimano Dura Ace power meter on the right crank on the drive side has been destroyed. I am in Ukraine. How to repair?

My battery cover and housing has completely disintegrated. Not fit for purpose. My drive side power is now completely useless and cost a lot of money. Very poor!

Whole casing is corodded and is cheaply made, almost unusable. Got the cover on but barely. Also, one of the meters regularly drops link to my head unit halfway into ride. Going to get a new power meter from another vendor.
