Right side power meter got disintegrated: both housing and cap.
Battery is now exposed and risking to fall down. No way to rinse the bike after riding!!
I thought I was the only one until I got here!

The bike is a S works tarmac SL7 purchased in Jan 2024.
Can housing and cap be replaced?
I’m not looking for any “20% discount on new parts (!!!!)”. I just want it to be replaced with reliable parts.
Quality of the plastic seems to be very poor !
We are so many that a lawsuit should be the right way to grab their attention!

Well - it looks like we're all in the same boat - very expensive bike with a dual sided power meter fitted that's battery housing crumbles/falls apart when it has been in use for a couple of years and the battery is changed - no service replacement offered leaving the only solution to purchase a new crankset at well over $1,000. Shame because the rest of the 4iiii products and service I've used/received have been great - However, this problem needs reported and a suitable resolution/compensation recieved. I also like to be included in any class action suit if taken. BTW I gave 1 star because I couldn't post with 0 :-(
Not the first one but very disappointed to find the drive housing has comply broken. I have managed to glue it back together but have no confidence in this being a long term solution. The bike, a S works tarmac SL7 was only purchased in May 2024. Can the housing be replaced?

Appears no matter how careful you are, drive side battery housing breaks. You save up and treat it like your life depends on it and then it disintegrates itself. Same as everyone else, changed the battery and that was enough to allow for the failure to start. I can only assume moisture gets into the nuts, causing the metal to expand? Which in turns causes the cheap plastic to break as a result of a stress fracture. Query raised directly and I'm hopeful they'll offer a replacement or a fixing service. If the entire unit is now trashed, I look forward to the response as 4iiii backed with an industry leading 3-year warranty, or I'll join in the public outcry of not accepting such build quality.
